Day 184 – The Mark I

Maybe I’m pacifying old weapons or weaponizing photography or recontextualizing the camera operator as an offensive agent instead of a passive observer or maybe I just never grew up and still love guns. You decide!

Anyway, it totally works. It’s comfortable, the trigger release looks awkward but for my hands it’s perfect. The forestock is an old $1 tripod, and i’m using its mounting screw as well. the zip ties need trimming. it need a bit more padding in the butt stock (yes i said it).

Mark II will hopefully include:
1 handed shooting
quick release from mount (yes i said it)

I kind of thought if I kept up with the #art365 project I’d end up tinkering out my own tools…
