I love brutalist architecture, huge edifices of concrete, big buildings, that sort of thing. One thing I love about it, is that for a style known for coarseness, there’s a fine finish that happens sometimes simply by the building process. They use wooden boards and sheets to make the frames into which the concrete is poured, and often the set concrete takes on the negative impression of the surface of the wood.
