Untitled2This one’s a bit of a doozy. I found this neural net art interpretation program on github. It can take an image, analyze it, and then affect another image to render it in the same style as the first. My coworker Ross installed the necessary software on a machine at work and we ran some photos through it. Namely, I asked him to run through this sunset image and this Roerich painting:

After chugging for a good four hours (the software needs GPU acceleration) the machine spat out the following sequence of images:

There represent different levels of blend in the software itself. Unsure which to use, I loaded them all into Photoshop and blended the layers, which produced this image:

which i then layered over the original sunset image to produce today’s picture.
