“Headshots are a necessity for any actor, and the same is true for me. Having seen Simon’s photos online, I was impressed with his creative approach to photography-and the fact that his photos were not processed (aka no Photoshop needed!). When you look at his photography, what you’re looking at is raw talent-real landscape, real people, true lighting and locations.
I have worked with many photographers in the past. Before Photoshop, there are usually a few photos that are interesting…many more after some digital magic. I have never been so impressed with the amount of photos that were taken, with natural light, and no airbrush techniques.
Now the big kudos:
As I mentioned, I’m an actress. I needed headshots that were versatile – photos that will give me options for auditions. Simon was able to think of genuinely creative ways to give me options. He also did a great job of capturing my playful, ‘girl next door’ nature. I’ve had countless people tell me how great my headshots are.
